Euromex Minot type Rotation microtome MT.5505


Minot type for serial production of histological specimens embedded in paraffin or celloidin


Fixed knife. Tthe object is moved vertically along the knife and pushed forward at the adjusted thickness for each cut. The section thickness is adjustable between 1 and 25 microns. Cutting angle of microtome knife adjustable between 0 and 30 degrees. Maximum aperture of object clamp 24 x 29 mm. This microtome is supplied with a 17 cm 'D' type knife, (without handle), 3 object holders, dia. 20, 30 and 35 mm. Clamp-on carrying belt suitable for manual operation

For rotation  microtomes it is recommended to purchase the following accessories: MT.5528 knife handle, MT.5526 holer for stropping, MT.5529 strop and MT.5531 stropping paste
