FOLDING MAGNIFIERS
When more magnification or a better image is required, multiple-lens magnifiers are used. 
High power magnifiers are sometimes mounted in a cylindrical or conical holder with no handle. This is called a loupe

The Euromex high-power folding magnifiers can reach up to about 20x, and at these magnifications the aperture of the magnifier becomes very small and it must be placed very close to both the object and the eye. For more convenient use or for magnification beyond about 20x, one must instead use a Euromex microscope

ACHROMATIC LENS
An achromatic lens or achromat is a lens that is designed to limit the effects of chromatic and spherical aberration. Achromatic lenses are corrected to bring two wavelengths into focus in the same plane

The achromatic triplet, which is composed of three individual lenses made from glasses with different amounts of dispersion. The lens elements are mounted next to each other and provides the ultimate in distortion-free, color-correct viewing. The triple lens system is made up of two concave meniscus elements cemented to a double convex lens

ILLUMINATION
Supplied with a 3-way switch for turning the LED light on (switch in right position), an off setting (switch in middle position) and a UV light on (switch in left position)

WHITE LED ILLUMINATION
These folding magnifiers are equipped with 6 white LED lights for a uniform illumination of the object, better observation of a dark object or object in the dark

ULTRA VIOLET ILLUMINATION
Because of its ability to cause chemical reactions and excite fluorescence in materials, ultraviolet light (UV) has a number of applications:
Extreme ultraviolet lithography, UV-ID, label tracking, barcodes, optical sensors, various instrumentation, disinfection, decontamination of surfaces and water (DNA), forensic analysis, drug detection, protein analysis, DNA sequencing, drug discovery, curing of polymers and printer inks
